Bholaganj Sada Pathar, Sylhet, Bangladesh

 

Sada Pathar of Sylhet is a popular tourist center located in Companyganj Upazila. It is located on the Dhalai River and is surrounded by Meghalaya mountains and clear water. Here you can see the beautiful scenery of white rocks, mountains and rivers.

Location: About 35-39 km away from Sylhet city is located in Companiganj upazila.

Features:

·         Located on the Dhalai river which descends from Meghalaya in India.

·         A lot of white stones can be seen on the river bed, which has given this place the name "White Stone Country".

·         It has the green hills of Meghalaya on one side and the rocky river on the other.

Travel:

·         You can go from Sylhet city to Bholaganj by bus or other transport.

·         You can go to Sada Pathar area by boat from Bholaganj number 10 ghat.

·         Each boat can carry about 8 to 10 people and the cost of boat rental may vary.

 

Current situation: Recently, there have been incidents of stone looting from tourist centers, which has adversely affected the environment and somewhat reduced the natural beauty of the tourist center.
