Shahjibazar Rubber Garden located in Madhavpur Upazila of
Habiganj is a beautiful and peaceful natural tourist center. Established in the
1980s, this huge 2,104 acre plantation has around 2.3 million rubber trees. Rows
of rubber trees on hilly hills, lush greenery and laid-back atmosphere enthrall
tourists, which is essentially a government rubber production project.
How to go and features:
Location: 30 km south of Habiganj district town and 1 km
east of Dargah gate on Dhaka-Sylhet highway.
Environment: Spectacular views of rubber tree foliage, quiet
environment and hilly trails.
Tips: Morning or afternoon is the best time for photography
in this lush green place. This is essentially an action-oriented garden, so
normal order should be maintained while traveling.
